About
Achariya College of Engineering Technology is dedicated to providing a reliable, safe, and secure academic environment for students and a supportive working atmosphere for all female staff members. In accordance with the guidelines of the Supreme Court, UGC, and the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition & Redressal) Act, 2013, the College has established an Internal Complaints Committee (Anti-Sexual Harassment Cell).
OBJECTIVES
The objectives of the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) are as follows:
- To create a policy aligned with legal guidelines.
- To educate to foster a safe environment.
- To ensure comfort in reporting incidents.
- To maintain transparency in investigations.
- To provide counselling and support resources.
- To offer comprehensive information on prevention and reporting.
- To foster inclusivity and equality.
ROLE
- To act as complaint authority on a complaint of sexual harassment.
- To take proactive measures for sensitizing students, staff on gender issues.
