OBJECTIVES

• To promote cultural activities and bring out the hidden talents of students in the performing arts.
• To identify, recognize, encourage, develop the artistic talents of the students.
• To encourage, guide & prepare the talented students to take part in the various inter-collegiate/University cultural events.
• To organize various intra and inter collegiate cultural events like Fresher’s Day, Talent day, College Annual day etc in the college.

Roles and Responsibilities of Cultural Committee

1. The committee will meet under the direction of the convener to discuss and assign tasks.
2. Information about events to be organized by the Cultural Committee will be posted by the Committee on the Notice Board and Website.
3. All college-wide and intercollegiate cultural events fall under the purview of the Cultural Committee.
4. Budget preparation for all cultural events and take necessary steps for its approval.
5. To decide the date, time and agenda of the program.
6. To prepare and maintain records of all cultural activities.
7. To inform members of staff and students about the event.
8. To arrange the venue and logistics (audio/video systems, dais, podium etc).
9. To invite the Chief Guest and other dignitaries.
10. To arrange mementos for guests and gifts/certificates for the participants.
