ACHARIYA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY

Achariya College of Engineering Technology– A temple of learning, is an ISO certified Institution was founded by the great Educationalist and Philanthropist, Tr. J . Arawindhan. The main objective of college is to advance the knowledge-based Engineering Professions and to Influence the future directions of Engineering Education and Practice.

Since Inception, the college has been providing World-Class facilities & Infrastructure in Education and Learning. The emphasis is on Transformational Leadership rather than Directional Leadership. ACHARIYA College of Engineering Technology is approved by All India Council for Technical Education and affiliated to Pondicherry University and was established during the year 2010. ACHARIYA offers technology education in 5 streams. ACHARIYA College of Engineering Technology is a distinguished institution, in that, it goes beyond curriculum, by offering training in current technologies, soft skill, preparation for competitive exams etc. A hands-on training and exposure aims at delivering employable candidates. The campus has Wi-Fi networking. Students are provided with free laptops. Scholarships are offered by the management to motivate students. The faculty are well qualified, well experienced and dedicated. The labs are state-of-the-art with well trained technicians.

HISTORY

The founding group ACHARIYA World Class Educational Institutions had its humble beginnings more than a decade ago by the launch of The ACHARIYA Teacher Education Academy and ACHARIYA College of Education in the year 2000. This was followed by the starting of the ACHARIYA Siksha Mandir and gradually classes were added. In the year 2001 ACHARIYA Bala Siksha Mandir was Inaugurated at Thengaithittu Campus and its satellite branches were started at various places in Puducherry. In the year 2004 ACHARIYA Arts and Science College was started followed by Sri Sampourna Vidyalayam in the year 2005. ACHARIYA School of Business and Technology came into being in the year 2006. ACHARIYA College of Engineering Technology is approved by All India Council for Technical Education and affiliated to Pondicherry University and was established during the year 2010.

Dr. J. Arawindhan, the chief mentor and managing trustee is a Mechanical Engineering Graduate from SRM University. He has an unquenchable thirst for empowering educational revolution in the state of Puducherry, quietly spreading his aura to neighbouring areas to make and position ACHARIYA Group of World Class Educational Institutions into an institute of world recognition.

Mrs. J. Athilakshmi, trustee is the mother of the chief mentor, a highly energetic and dynamic individual who takes keen interest in the developmental activities at ACHARIYA.

Mrs. A. Vinothini, is also a member and trustee of the ACHARIYA Institutions. She is the backbone of the administrative process and many organizational activities at ACHARIYA.
