Examination Cell
ABOUT
The Examination Cell, also referred to as the Examination Office or Examination Section, plays a crucial role within educational institutions by overseeing the organization, coordination, and management of all examination-related activities. This department ensures the smooth execution of examinations, upholds the integrity of assessment procedures, and facilitates the dissemination of examination results to students and relevant stakeholders.
The Examination Cell of Achariya College of Engineering Technology operates in accordance with the established guidelines and standards set forth by the Pondicherry university. The Exam Cell Committee’s primary objective is to oversee the coordination of Midterm assessments, End examinations, Practical examinations, University end examinations, and the preparation of consolidated results. Additionally, it manages the organization and execution of university valuations and ensures an adequate inventory of required stationery well in advance.
Furthermore, the committee guides students on examination-related matters, ensures timely submission of mark lists by lecturers to the Examination Section, and promptly provides Statements of Marks to students/parents within designated timelines. Any instances of examination malpractice are referred to the Unfair Means Inquiry Committee/Examination Grievances Committee for appropriate action. The committee also handles the timely processing of exam remuneration bills and prepares course/program-wise distributions of pass percentages, which are then submitted to the principal.
