“As women Achieve power, the barriers will fall. As society sees what women can do, as women see what women can do, there will be more women out there doing things, and we’ll all be better off for it.”
Women’s empowerment refers to the activities undertaken to improve the social, economic, and political status of women in the world. Throughout history, the female gender has faced subjugation and systematic oppression. However, efforts to empower women aim to change this narrative and create a more equitable society.

ABOUT THE CELL
Women Cell of Achariya college of Engineering and Technology is established with the motto of “It took me quite a long time to develop a voice, and now that I have it, I am not going to be silent”.
A Women Empowerment Cell (WEC) is a dedicated organizational unit or initiative aimed at promoting gender equality, empowering women, and fostering an inclusive environment that supports the rights and advancement of women in various spheres of life. Added to it suggestions for improvement and empowerment among themselves has been given. Aiming at intellectual and social upliftment of the female students, the cell stands for facilitating women’s empowerment through guest lectures, seminars, awareness programs and other welfare activities.
The primary objective of a Women Empowerment Cell is to address the diverse needs and challenges faced by women and work towards creating a conducive environment where they can thrive and achieve their full potential
VISION
To Advance the General Well-Being of Female College Students, Faculty, And Staff Members, As Well As to Create and Preserve a Respectful, Welcoming Work Environment for Women That Allows Them to Reach Their Full Potential in All Spheres.
MISSION
To provide women with the training they need to become well-versed in a variety of subjects, as well as to grow in their social, economic, and intellectual talents for the sake of world peace, security, and prosperity.
OBJECTIVES
- To Identify and Promote the strong Leadership and Growth of women as Individuals in their Own Right.
- Arranging Seminars to Create awareness on the Economic, Social, Political, and Legal Rights of women.
- Organizing Different Activities to make women aware of their Health, Sports, Self-Defence etc.
- Conducting various Competitions to Encourage their Artistic talents for Creative thinking
- To highlight the Importance of Spirituality, Health, Hygiene and Safety
- Celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8th, Every Year
- To Develop the Self-Confidence of Women in building their Capacity.
- Training the Women to Impart Knowledge of Opportunities and Resources available to Get Backing Support.
- To Educate Girl Students on Women Specific Health Issues and Measures to Be Taken.
- Creating Social Awareness About the Problems of Women, Gender Equity and Prevention of Sexual Harassment.
