About the Department
Established in 2010, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering started with an intake of 60 and has now increased to 120. Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is one of the most sought-after programs among engineering aspirants, focusing on the theoretical foundations and practical applications of computing.
The discipline emphasizes areas such as software development, analysis of algorithms, programming languages, artificial intelligence, data science, computer networks, and problem-solving skills. Our program prepares students for diverse career roles such as Software Developers, System Analysts, Architects, Hardware Engineers, Networking Engineers, Database Administrators, and Project Leaders.
CSE is inherently interdisciplinary, connecting with fields such as psychology, biology, mathematics, physics, education, and art. Advanced courses including AI, human-computer interaction, robotics, web technologies, and cybersecurity equip students to design innovative solutions for real-time complex problems.
