ABOUT

  1. The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Achariya College of Engineering Technology was established in the year 2018.
  2. IQAC is committed to continual improvement of services, processes and resources for effective conformance to the requirements of all the stakeholders.
  3. To achieve such commitment Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) was formulated to design, monitor and assess the quality parameters in academic functions of Institute.
  4. The IQAC is established within a structured framework that involves systematic evaluation, assessment, and the execution of initiatives aimed at enhancing quality. Internal auditing of the Institute, faculty and staff members is regularly done by the IQAC for continuous improvement

FUNCTIONS OF IQAC:

  1. Establishing and implementing quality benchmarks/standards for diverse academic and administrative functions within the institution.
  2. Creating a learner-centered environment to facilitate quality education and supporting faculty development to integrate necessary knowledge and technology for collaborative teaching and learning.
  3. Soliciting feedback from students, parents, and stakeholders to assess the quality of institutional processes.
  4. Disseminating information regarding various quality standards in higher education.
  5. Hosting workshops and seminars both internally and externally focused on quality-related topics and fostering quality improvement through the promotion of quality circles.
  6. Documenting programs and activities aimed at enhancing quality standards.
  7. Serving as the central agency within the institution for coordinating quality-related initiatives, including the adoption and dissemination of best practices.
  8. Periodical conduct of Academic and Administrative Audit and its follow-up
  9. Compiling the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) in accordance with NAAC guidelines and parameters for submission.

Confidence-building workshops: Workshops designed to boost students’ self-confidence and self-esteem, providing techniques and strategies for overcoming stage fright.

Peer support groups: Establishing peer support networks where students can practice speaking in a supportive environment, receive constructive feedback, and build confidence gradually.

Challenge: Lack of Awareness: Some students may underestimate the importance of oratory skills or may be unaware of available opportunities for skill development.

Resources Required:
